Furnaces
The design of pit furnaces, featuring a cylindrical configuration with heating elements uniformly distributed along the entire height of the treatment chamber, ensures excellent temperature uniformity. Workpieces can be loaded not only on baskets or shelves, but also on racks, allowing the treatment of long components. Loading fixtures can be easily handled using standard lifting equipment typically available in production facilities, such as overhead or jib cranes. Heating is provided by electric heating elements, installed and evenly distributed along the cylindrical refractory chamber. Alternatively, gas-fired heating systems can be supplied, including high-efficiency versions with heat recovery.

The pit furnace can be supplied either without a retort, for air heat treatments, or with a retort for controlled-atmosphere processes. The installation of an internal recirculation system on the furnace cover provides additional assurance of high temperature uniformity and proper atmosphere distribution within the treatment chamber.
When combined with a quenching tank, quenching cycles can also be performed using water, oil or salt. The furnace is equipped with a touch-screen operator panel for easy and intuitive operation and control, with remote assistance capability.
